The Schenectady County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is a brand new law enforcement entity that is NOT funded by tax dollars. We are similar but not financially supported by the ASPCA. Our Peace Officers need duty equipment (holsters for glocks, nylon duty belts, handcuff cases, serviceable uniforms whereby he only need to change the shoulder patches, and most importantly bullet proof vests whether new or old (anything is better then nothing). We will come down to the city and pick. We are all volunteer sworn law enforcement officers trying to do the right thing (protect animals) with nothing and no one paying the tab!!! ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE AS WE ARE ONE OF THE FEW 501(c)(3) LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES IN THE STATE!!!! We are looking for 20 sets of trousers and shirts, 20 nylon belts with holsters for glock 9mm, 40 handcuff cases, 20 double magazines, and at least 20 bullet proof vests for our training academy which starts in Late April. Can a few of you get together an help a poor agency in exchange for some tax right offs and know your helping a fellow law enforcement officer protect him/her self? We can’t thank you enough!!
